woohoo i cant wait till SED becomes mainstream...definately a technology that could, and i think
will, replace current LCD and plasma. the crucial part is that the market can only sustain viable development of the medium if it isnt placed out of reach like plasma technology initiallly was. the only reason plasma has come right down in price is due to the fact that LCD became more mainstream in larger formats. now because of the fact that there will be 3 competing mediums, i bellieve if SED is to survive, it must be priced accordingly with LCD and plasma, and must also not have the ambiguity that plasma introduced into the industry with its differing resolutions, and what each resolution was called, whether is be SD or HD. that is partially to blame on marketing, but the producers of such technology should ensure continuity across the whole whole range.
and if what i write bores you elim, don't read it :P
